Bluberty child safety standards
Last updated: 2026-11-08
Bluberty (Android app com.bluberty.app) is a calorie counter with recipes, a community Feed and
chats. It is for adults (18+). These are our standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE).
Zero tolerance
Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), and any content or behaviour that sexualises, grooms, sextorts, trafficks or otherwise exploits a child, is forbidden on Bluberty - in posts, comments, photos, profiles, chats, voice messages and the shared product catalog. Our Terms of Use and the Community Rules every user accepts before publishing say so.
Reporting in the app
Every post, comment, chat message and profile has Report in its menu. Choose Child sexual abuse or exploitation. The person you report never learns who reported them. You can also block the account at once. Reports of this reason are shown to our moderators apart from all others and are reviewed first.
You can also write to our child safety contact (below), with or without the app.
What we do
- Content reported as CSAE is reviewed by a moderator as soon as possible. Content that breaks these standards is removed, and the account behind it is banned.
- When we learn of child sexual abuse material on Bluberty, we report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC, CyberTipline) and to the competent national authorities, and we preserve the reported content and its context for as long as the law requires - longer than our usual 90 days for closed reports.
- We cooperate with law enforcement requests made under applicable law.
- Bans are recorded in a moderation log that cannot be edited.
Compliance
Bluberty complies with applicable child safety laws and regulations, and with Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy.
